Drive over Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft). Descend into Nubra Valley. Ride double-humped Bactrian camels at Hunder Sand Dunes. Visit Diskit Monastery.
Drive along Shyok River to world-famous Pangong Tso Lake (13,860 ft). Watch the lake change color from turquoise to deep blue. Night stay in luxury lakefront tented camp.
Watch sunrise over Pangong Lake. Drive back to Leh crossing Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). Visit Hemis & Thiksey Monasteries enroute.
